AHAHAHA the continuation...priceless. And not far off the mark.
So far, a good response to the writing itself. A couple useful comments, that I will probably implement, and a generally positive reception. So yay!
I expect the query within the next day or so. We'll see how that goes over. *crosses fingers*

1) Did you really not mind the continuation? Because if that's true, then I can 'fess up that it's mine. I didn't want to claim it on EE's blog, just in case it upset you.
2) I like this opening. And I think it's more vivid than your initial one.
3) I don't want to be a PITA, but if you find yourself with some free time on your hands, would you be willing to submit a continuation or fake plot for entries? Be snide, be silly, take them to their absurd conclusions...I'm considering submitting some nutty continuations/fake plots for myself just because I'm so darned antsy to see how the minions respond. :)

Oh, it didn't upset me at all! I'm going to comment over there at some point, and one thing was going to be how funny I found the continuation. Good job, there. Hehe.
Believe you me, had I free time (what is that again?) I'd send EE stuff. I may still try. But right now it's a struggle to keep my head above water, between the WIP and my day job, not to mention the kid and DH...
But I'll make a concerted effort to find a few moments and come up with something(s).
Totally with you on the struggle to tread water...same here. Hence my blog post earlier this week.
